DATE2025-12-04

Hosted by Sungkyunkwan University's Start-up Support Group (Start-up-Centered University/Director Kim Kyung-hwan) and GA Korea, sponsored by Yongin Special City, Gyeonggi Province, Hana Bank, and IMM Investment, the "2025 KINGO-GA Start-up Competition" was held at GA Korea Plaza in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 20th, and N1 Tech won the grand prize for honor with the localization of core process equipment for secondary batteries in the leap period start-up company category.
N1 Tech Co., Ltd. has developed iridium oxide electrode coating technology to challenge the battery equipment market, which is highly dependent on foreign countries.
"We currently have more than 90% of Japanese products in the market," N1 Tech said. "We have laid the foundation for not only import substitution effects but also entering overseas markets in the future through localization and have completed applications for related patents."

The competition, which marks its seventh anniversary this year, has become a growth ladder that links practical investments by discovering promising startups in the deep-tech and ESG fields beyond simple competitions. A total of 135 teams in the Seoul metropolitan area applied for the competition, and a total of eight companies won awards in the early (less than three years) and leap period (less than three years and seven years). The gold prize winning team of this competition, which was held with a total prize money of 35 million won, will be given an IR opportunity to attract investment, and all winning teams will receive preferential treatment for moving into Sungkyunkwan University's start-up incubation center and GA Smart start-up creation center along with media publicity support.
